Finnish sneaker brand Karhu is adding more silhouettes to its Spring/Summer 2019 rotation. After releasing the “Catch of the Day” and “Spring Festival” packs earlier this year, the Kayne West-approved label is launching three new models for the warmer months ahead.

Dubbed the “Land of the Midnight Sun,” the range pays homage to Finland and its long summer days, considering the sun does not completely set from May until August. Comprised of signature silhouettes including the Aria, Synchron Classic and the Fusion 2.0, each model has been dressed in colors reminiscent of Finland’s twilight hours; “Glimmering Orange,” “Starry White” and grey and interwoven with blues that represent the calm lakes of the landscape.

Each model has been crafted from colour blocked pigskin suede and breathable mesh in three different color combinations of “Daphne/Lunar Rock,” “Lunar Rock/Pureed Pumpkin” and “Snow White/Pureed Pumpkin.”

Karhu’s “Land of the Midnight Sun” pack is set to hit Karhu’s concept store in Helsinki, Karhu.com and at select retailers worldwide this Friday, May 17. The Aria will retail for $130 USD; the Synchron Classic for $135 USD; and finally the Fusion 2.0 for $140 USD.
