CELINE Launches New US E-Commerce Site
Currently only stocking accessories.
Hedi Slimane‘s revolution at CELINE has continued with the launch of a new US e-commerce site. This is the first time that the Parisian label has sold online in the US, and comes after the e-commerce platform was launched in France, Italy, German and the United Kingdom earlier this year.
The new CELINE web store features a number of accessories including leather goods, jewelry, and sunglasses from the current collection. Ready-to-wear pieces will reportedly be added to the site at a later stage. Prices on the web store range from earrings priced at $335 USD to $24,800 USD for a crocodile skin bag. Hedi Slimane’s first handbag design — which was previewed by Lady Gaga — is due to release for pre-order on October 22 and will be priced at $4,550 USD.
