For the first time in over a decade, American heritage brands J.Crew and Timex have reunited to release a limited-edition collaboration. The new MK1 watch blends Timex’s long-standing legacy of precision watchmaking with J.Crew’s enduring influence on American style. Designed as a true wardrobe staple, the partnership reflects both brands’ shared commitment to quality and the timeless appeal of well-crafted essentials.
Originally inspired by the clarity and purpose of military field watches, the MK1 has been reinterpreted with a refined touch. The timepiece features a 36mm gold-plated stainless steel case, an acrylic crystal lens, and a dependable quartz movement, all secured by a braided brown leather strap. Its intentionally simple dial is highlighted by an unexpected detail: a small brook trout illustration based on a painting by J.Crew’s in-house watercolorist. As the brand playfully notes, it is not meant to be a technical fishing or diving watch, but rather “simply a watch with a fish on it”.
Built for everyday utility and balancing polish with a casual sensibility, the watch boasts 50-meter water resistance. The limited-edition Timex MK1 for J.Crew officially launches on May 28, 2026, and is priced at $198 USD. It will be available for purchase through Timex and J.Crew’s webstores as well as select retail locations.
