BEAMS PLUS has reunited with designer Kimitoshi Chida’s label, sage de cret, for a seasonal collaborative capsule drop. The collection channels an urban-utilitarian appeal, centering on sage de cret’s reinterpretation of military cargo pants and shorts, now updated with BEAMS PLUS’s casual sensibility.
One of the key pieces of the range is the 2‑Way Cargo Shorts, a perennial favorite reworked with new fabrics and detailing. Taking design cues from vintage Royal Navy cargo trousers, the shorts feature distinctively slanted utility pockets strategically angled for seamless, on-the-go access. Additional tactical elements include water-drainage eyelets integrated into the pocket gussets, alongside a premium material build using lightweight, fast-drying 100% nylon ripstop fabric that offers a subtle, sophisticated sheen.
Prices fall between ¥18,000 to ¥24,000 JPY (approx $140–$185 USD), the capsule officially releases May 16, 2026, through BEAMS PLUS stores and online platforms.
