NEIGHBORHOOD and Japanese organic towel brand Hippopotamus have officially united for an exclusive apparel and lifestyle collection. Dropping this month, the collaborative project blends premium textile manufacturing with bold streetwear motifs for a specialized release.
The forthcoming lineup centers around Hippopotamus’ original toweling fabric, which uniquely weaves cotton together with bamboo rayon. NEIGHBORHOOD elevates this highly textured base by applying a custom, original leopard print across the entire range of items.
Bridging the gap between indoor and outdoor style, the apparel assortment includes a no-collar shirt, an open-collar shirt, and a pair of easy shorts. The garments are deliberately designed to provide a relaxed, comfortable fit, making them suitable as both striking casual outfits and elevated room wear. Rounding out the lifestyle offerings, the duo is also releasing a branded bath towel and matching room shoes utilizing the same proprietary fabric.
