For the 5th drop of Palace‘s Summer collection, the London-based label has unveiled a collaborative capsule with Los Angeles-based skate brand Sci-Fi Fantasy, alongside its inline essentials. Founded by skater and photographer Jerry Hsu, Sci-Fi Fantasy’s tech-inspired ethos comes through in recurring themes of urban technology, modern Chinese typography, and surreal digital minimalism.
Of particular note is Sci-Fi Fantasy’s signature 3D artwork by Jon Baken depicting an emblem with Chinese characters and “Palace Fantasy” at the bottom. The special wordmark is found in various colors like pink, green, yellow, and purple across t-shirts, coach jackets, and trucker caps. Elsewhere, a “Sci-Fi Palace Hyperreality” graphic juxtaposes typographic elements with a tricycle rendering, evoking early internet aesthetics. For a pared-back option, 6-Panel Caps in bright yellow, black, and brown boast simple “Sci-Fi Palace” logos embroidered at the front.
On the collab, Hsu said, “As a fan of Palace since the beginning, I was ecstatic for the opportunity to work together.” “I wanted to bring in our 3D work, particularly the Asian urban motifs and tech influences we often play with,” he continued. “I love the new Tri logo it’s my favorite piece in the drop. Sci-Fi Palace and Palace Fantasy? Couldn’t be easier.”
In addition to the new tie-up, Palace also introduces an array of new inline graphic pieces and active styles suited for summer. In Navy, Gray, Blue, and Black, a new atomic-inspired illustration places a psychedelic Palace wordmark at the center of a nexus. Elsewhere, a tongue-in-cheek “This is my happy p(a)lace” tee and a Gothic logo tee are offered in similar color palettes. The collection is finally topped off with a run of new triangle logo hoodies and ventilated jogger sets in washed shades of blue and green, and black.

The latest Summer 2025 drop will be released on May 30 in stores, online and via Dover Street Market at 11 a.m. BST, online in Europe at 12 p.m., online in the US at 11 a.m. EST/8 a.m. PST, in-store in New York at 11 a.m. and in-store and via Dover Street Market in Los Angeles at 11 a.m.. The drop will also release on May 31 in-store and online in Japan and Seoul at 11 a.m., and via Palace WeChat in China at 11 a.m.
