Klipsch has introduced the next evolution of one of its most iconic loudspeakers — the Klipschorn AK7. Hand-assembled in Hope, Arkansas, the updated model retains its legendary horn-loaded three-way design while incorporating modern engineering upgrades and a striking new finish option.

The AK7 now features a new K-406M Tractrix midrange horn, upgraded KT-1133-HP compression driver and improved high-frequency dispersion with a wide-dispersion phase plug. These refinements enhance clarity, dynamics and time alignment for a more immersive listening experience. A redesigned input/output panel allows easy integration of Klipsch’s optional Heritage Active Crossover ($3,499 USD), a digital signal processor that unlocks enhanced control over phase, EQ and gain settings.

Inspired by the success of the flagship Jubilee, Klipsch principal engineer Roy “Chief Bonehead” Delgado revived decades-old concepts to push the AK7 further while preserving the essence of Paul W. Klipsch’s original 1946 design. Also debuting is the new “American Auburn” finish, a deep wood tone that joins Black Ash and American Walnut in the Heritage lineup. Using book-matched veneers and meticulous craftsmanship, each speaker is built to exacting standards.

Priced at $17,998 USD per pair, the Klipschorn AK7 blends timeless design with state-of-the-art sound, honoring the past while stepping into the future. Now available through authorized Heritage retailers, with more information available via Klipsch’s website.
