Lanzante Unveils Two Road-Going Porsche 935 Models at Goodwood
Each boasting 710hp derived from a 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine.
At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lanzante showcased two road-ready Porsche 935s among an impressive lineup of modified vehicles. Based on the limited 77 units of the 2019 Porsche 935, these cars share their core with the 911 GT2 RS, boasting a powerful 710 hp from a 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine.
Converting these track beasts for the road required significant modifications. Lanzante equipped the 935s with a new suspension setup, custom wheels, a parking brake and cleverly integrated headlights that resemble air vents. The vehicles’ finishes are a nod to their racing heritage: one car sports the legendary Martini livery, while the other is adorned in striking Marlboro colors for the Hill climb.
Lanzante’s display extended beyond the Porsche 935s. Highlights included a McLaren P1 HDK, a revamped McLaren Speedtail with fresh bodywork and a unique paint job and three Gulf-liveried GTR models: the McLaren F1 GTR, P1 GTR and Senna GTR. Also featured was the latest iteration of the 1980s Formula 1-engined TAG Turbo model, honoring driver John Watson.
Additionally, Lanzante introduced the TAG Championship, a lightweight, enhanced version of the classic 911 TAG Turbo. This model, making its global debut, pays tribute to Alain Prost with a design inspired by his iconic helmet colors.
