Some may remember that Simon Porte Jacquemus himself said “I Do” in the charming summer August summer wedding Charleval village of South of France in 2022. Since then, fans of the brand were captivated by the way he brought his own flair to his brand’s signature south of France-inspired aesthetic.
Now, getting in the spirit for summer weddings, the designer has launched an all new “LE MARIAGE” collection. After his wedding, the designer spoke to Vogue about the special day and discussed how he chose the theme and pieces for the wedding, “I wanted to be quite solemn, very classic and at the same time have this piece of a veil in my pocket. I found it poetic and it sent a nice message, bringing some fragility and some femininity…I liked the cliché side.” Just like his own wedding, he brings a similar vision to the collection, combining the traditional and classic with a vibrant wedding scene.
Creating the ultimate wedding party, the campaign boasts bold, solid colors for bridesmaids in vivid orange-reds and wedding guests in bright blues and yellows and even deep greens. Jacquemus embodies the contemporary chicness that embraces both the fun and seriousness of the occasion. Never one to step away from the drama, accessories like oversized sun hats make a comeback in true Jacquemus fashion while sheer material are tastefully used and paired with relaxed tailored suits.
