Noah Unveils Its Timex Moon Phase Watch
The brand’s second collaboration with the watchmaker tracks the daily phases of the Moon with elegant vignettes.
For those who missed their chance at snagging one of Noah and Timex‘s Sun & Moon watches, the collaborators have unveiled an all-new model that tracks the moon’s phases. While carrying forth Noah’s timeless prep inspirations with rich design details, the piece also nods to a new astrology-savvy generation that looks to the stars for day-to-day guidance.
The moon phase dial feature is the highlight of the design, boasting rotating vignettes throughout the moon’s 29.5-day cycles, from the new moon to the waning crescent. Antique blue-and-golden images of each phase appear in its arched window, recalling astrological illustrations of bygone eras.
The steel case is coated in gold plating, complementing the warm-toned brown leather strap finished with a crocodile pattern. With quartz movement and a mineral glass crystal facade, the case measures 37mm x 25mm, and the lug is 18mm.
