Step Inside the Ultimate 'Star Wars'-Inspired Mancave

The MF Room, designed by Singapore-based Spacedge Designs, transforms a 24-square-meter space into a breathtaking Star Wars sanctuary. This immersive space recreates the iconic Millennium Falcon, Han Solo’s legendary spacecraft, delivering an experience that transcends typical themed room design.

Meticulously crafted at a 1/6 scale, based on Joe Johnston’s original 1977 film model, the room combines practical innovation with fan dedication. The raised floor and lowered ceiling create an intimate atmosphere while concealing essential HVAC and audio-visual systems. Built using a sophisticated blend of plywood, medium-density fiberboard, thin concrete, acrylic, steel, LED lighting and fiber optics, the space showcases extraordinary attention to detail in both functionality and aesthetics.

The room’s lighting design proves particularly striking, featuring a mesmerizing starfield effect created through the interplay of black paint and strategically placed fiber optic lights. Artist Sean Dunston’s custom paintwork adds the finishing touch, perfectly capturing the Falcon’s characteristic weathered appearance and lived-in charm.
