Gearing up for the holiday season, VILLAGE VANGUARD has unveiled a collection of ugly sweaters featuring Yoshihiro Togashi’s Yu Yu Hakusho.

Consisting of five designs, all the sweaters feature a crewneck cut and star a different character from the iconic ‘90s manga and anime. From Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara to the Togura brothers, each sweater not only features its respective character but also incorporates relevant motifs and phrases, complete with corresponding color schemes.

Arriving in a turquoise base with yellow trims, the Yusuke sweater depicts the protagonist amidst his signature “Spirit Gun” move, while the lower half of the sweater features repeat lettering, festive motifs, and a row of Pu — Yusuke’s penguin-like underworld beast.

Another noteworthy highlight from the lineup is the Togura Brothers sweater. Doused in a crimson red, the sweater is accentuated with a gray neckline, hem, and cuffs. The Younger Toguro’s stoic and sunglasses-clad face is emblazoned at the center front, while his older brother’s face is stealthily incorporated as part of the repeating motifs.

Expected to dispatch as early as late November, the collection is now available for pre-order until September 7, 9 p.m. JST via the VILLAGE VANGUARD online store. All pieces are priced at ¥ 14,300 JPY (approximately $98 USD).
