For its latest collaboration, Vans connects with motorcycle editorial Roller Magazine for Era-like sneakers named after Japanese singer and actor Tomoya Nagase‘s column “ANTI-NORMAL.”

The pairs were designed by Nagase himself featuring a thick cushioned velcro strap with circular stitching. The unique construction is said to reduce the burden on the foot when riding. Fabric tags match the colors of the low-tops, “TOM” graphics are embroidered on the lateral heel, co-branding decorates the insoles, and contrasting piping circles the rubber sole units. Two colorways are available in variations of light blue and black.

Priced at ¥14,300 JPY ($105 USD), the Tomoya Nagase x Vans sneakers will be available on March 11 via select Roller Magazine kiosks followed by an online release on March 18.
