Take an On-Foot at the MSCHF Gobstomper "Jimmy Fallon Edition"
A dynamic design that shows off its hidden colors with wear.

Following the release of Air Force 1-inspired Super Normal sneakers and billionaire-shaped ice pops, the industry’s headline-dominating problem child, MSCHF, has partnered with talk show host Jimmy Fallon for “Gobstomper” sneakers inspired by the classic Gobstopper hard candies. First revealed at Fallon’s The Tonight Show, the shoes look to be a typical skate-inspired silhouette on the surface. However, Fallon reveals that upon further wear and tear, the shoes will slowly show off four layers of colors for an edible thermal look.
Arriving in gray suede paneled uppers, zig-zag flat laces, and multi-colored edges, the pairs feature Mischief’s “!!!” labels on the tongue tabs, a brown perforated mudguard, playful dismembered foot motif on the heel, and MSCHF comic logos on the rear midsoles, which are found higher than usual with an added top panel. Vertical grooves are featured on the toe section and rounding out the design are colorful wavy ripples on the bottoms.
Look for the Gobstomper “Jimmy Fallon Edition” to go on sale July 28 for $195 USD via the MSCHF Sneakers app.
Elsewhere in footwear, 43einhalb and HORNBACH build a supersized “Sneakerpool” in Berlin.
