For Los Angeles natives like Stampd‘s founder, Chris Stamp, surfing is an essential part of the area’s identity and style. Surfing lies at the core of its Summer 2022 collection, but it combines beach-ready looks with the brand’s signature silhouettes and modern graphic design. Releasing on April 16 at 9AM PT, the new “Surf Sets” introduces new styles like the perfect beach trunk and updated prints to the Stampd universe.

As an avid beach-goer from a young age, Chris pulled inspiration from his favorite surf apparel pieces from growing up and memories of warm weather to create the “Surf Sets.” Throughout Stampd’s Summer 2022 collection, eye-catching camo-leopard and cracked marble prints appear on pieces like beach trunks, strike logo nylon pants, jackets and headwear. These skillful prints were developed in-house before being applied to technical fabrics to achieve a cool, monochromatic summer look. The beach trunks are constructed from dry matte nylon that’s designed to withstand the elements, especially salt water, and to pay tribute to military surplus styles.

Each piece in the collection is an exercise in merging two important aspects of Chris Stamp’s life: warm weather and surfing. The graphic T-shirts within the collection feature beach-ready motifs like palm trees, sporty “S” logos and silhouettes that are easy to throw on after hitting the waves. To complement the short sleeve T-shirts and beach trunks, the collection also includes hoodies and nylon jackets for when it gets cooler at night. While the Summer 2022 collection features technical construction that can handle the ruggedness of the beach, the pieces are cleverly designed to blend into wardrobes for everyday living.

Starting on April 16 at 9AM PT, the “Surf Sets” in Stampd’s Summer 2022 collection will be avaliable for purchase online and in-store at Stampd La Brea, as well as through global select stores.
