As part of its spring lifestyle offerings, Vans has tapped the fabric artisans at Liberty of London to assist with a new collection of women’s footwear and apparel. Known for its hand-drawn floral and paisley patterns, Liberty of London has almost 150 years of fabric design to draw from (it was founded in 1875) and here it’s lent signature prints to three takes on the classic Old Skool plus T-shirts, hoodies and more.

Each Old Skool in the collection uses a different mixture of tones atop its canvas upper. The most vibrant of the bunch is a tan-colored pair that’s awash in a veritable ranbow of floral ornamentation, while a black-based pair works more blue flowers into its print for a cooler look. Last but not least is a two-tone blue style that uses orange, purple and yellow paisley print to channel a trippy ’70s ethos. Each pair is completed with white Jazz Stripes, eyelets, laces and midsoles.

Apparel consists of a collarless shell jacket, two T-shirts, a bucket hat and a tote bag. All use the same patterns as the above-mentioned shoes, but apply their floral print more sparingly, making for a compelling contrast between serious workwear tones and lively colored prints.

Vans’ Liberty of London collection is available on the Vans webstore now, with shoes priced at $75 USD each and apparel running from $48 USD to $99.50 USD.
