Over the course of 2021, eyewear imprint AKILA has been on a tear with collaborative projects as it has linked up with many a different entity such as Pleasures, Chemist Creations, Grateful Dead and more. And while all of those have been fun and successful launches, it’s looking to take its brand to the next level with its newest Flower District Gift Shop initiative. It’s a retail space that’s based in Los Angeles, CA and curated by AKILA with intentions of highlighting various unique brands, designers and artists.
From a product standpoint, the space showcases a ton of AKILA’s eyewear products. Many of the label’s signature silhouettes in various colors are suspended on the hanging wall shelves on both sides of the store. In addition, the retail destination also serves as a pop-up for three brands including Mister Green, Dale Zine and Bricks & Wood.
Detailed shots of the space can be found in the gallery here above. In case you were in need for new sunnies or wanted to check out the products from the aforementioned brands, the Fashion District-based store is now open for visitation Monday through Saturday from noon to 6pm PDT.
