STUDIOUS Taps Kosuke Kawamura and MADNESS for Graphic-Focused Collab
The latest from Shawn Yue’s label and the Japanese artist.
Continuing to look for the latest in fashion, STUDIOUS has tapped Shawn Yue‘s MADNESS label for a new line. Launching the “MADNESS TOKYO” line cooperative relationship, the Japanese retailer has enlisted artist Kosuke Kawamura for a commemorative collaboration capsule.
Comprised of five T-shirts, the special range is centered around striking graphics that utilize a line collage composition. The prints build on Kawamura’s distinct exploration of duality through hybrid visuals that use vertical cuts to skew perspectives. Notable styles include a combination of the two collaborating parties’ logos with an image of Shawn Yue’s dog on the rear, along with a look at Benjamin Franklin and a desolate forest.
Check out the Kosuke Kawamura x MADNESS collaboration above and look for the special range to release June 20 at the new STUDIOUS TOKYO Shenzhen location, with a wider release at STUDIOUS TOKYO Jinnan, STUDIOUS TOKYO Shanghai, STUDIOUS TOKYO Hong Kong and the STUDIOUS ONLINE STORE June 26.
