Earlier this summer, Vic Mensa got together with the FADER for a week in his hometown of Chicago to film a documentary, titled Down to Start a Riot, recalling his rise to prominence in the past year. In this short trailer for the forthcoming film, a friend reflects on Mensa’s humble beginnings in the Illinois capital, and his long journey which saw him mosh on stage at the BRIT Awards with his hometown hero, Kanye West.
