Get That Tinder Match Based off Your Music Taste With New Spotify Integration

Taste in music can be a make or break for some people in for a partner, so Tinder is trying to make that easier for you to find a match by integrating Spotify. Starting today, anyone can add a Tinder “anthem” to his or her profile, show off their top artists on Spotify, and swipe through people based on music tastes. By simply connecting your Spotify account, your profile will show what you’ve been listening to and which artists you like. Your chosen Tinder “Anthem” will also be displayed, and can be played right from your profile whether or not another user has Spotify.
The two companies have also teamed up on “Tinder Music” playlists which are available in five mood-setting themes like “Pre-Swipe,” “Discovery,” “Match,” “Love at First Swipe” and “Date Night.”
