After several weeks of snippets and teasers of Skepta’s remix for Jamie xx’s “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times),” the full version was officially dropped last night on “Annie Mac’s Friday Night” on BBC Radio 1. On the track, Frisco is also featured with a guest verse. Jamie xx “swings by” the show briefly via phone call, from the studio where he is working with The xx on their new album, to chat with Annie Mac. In the short interview, he tells the radio host how the collaboration came together: “Skepta wanted to do a remix and I’ve always admired his production, so I gave him a part…and it came out great.” Head over to HYPETRAK to read more.
