As the Jay Z-curated Made In America festival nears, TIDAL has released a series of clips highlighting acts from the 2016 lineup. The streaming service’s DNA series presents the above vignette of Lil Yachty in the present moment. Ever youthful and entertaining, the Sailing Team captain stays put in the studio with neither drink nor smoke, as he readies himself for the music festival taking place in Philadelphia on September 3 and 4. Having landed himself in hot water for past remarks on J. Cole, Lil Boat reminds the world of his carefree, happy-go-lucky approach and ethos as he tells the camera, “I hate serious rap, it’s so boring.
