Janelle Monae Wants Everybody to "Hum Along & Dance (Gotta Get Down)"

Janelle Monae continues to keep funk, soul and everything in-between alive. Taking to Zane Lowe’s program for Beats 1, Janelle Monae has debuted a brand new record entitled “Hum Along & Dance (Gotta Get Down).” The track is Monae’s contribution to the soundtrack for the forthcoming Baz Luhrmann show The Get Down. Set to run on Netflix, The Get Down will present an entertaining look at hip-hop’s South Bronx beginnings. Nas also serves as the soundtrack’s executive producer.
