Candy Claws - Silent Time of Earth

Colorado-based Candy Claws honor their dreamy single “Silent Time On Earth” with a nothing less tuneful animation-style video. The clip is an impressive rework of an animated short by Ivan Ivanov-Vano and Soyuzmultfilm’s titled The Stolen Sun. You can follow the charming inhabitants of a forest on an eventful quest above.

We’ve done the impossible: re-coloured and re-soundtracked the 1944 Soviet animation, “The Stolen Sun.” Our song is about the billions of years while the earth was coming to life, before humans appeared. Apparently, these are the special kinds of antics performed by the animals before they had to behave for us.

The song is taken from the band’s current album Hidden Lands which is out now via Two Syllable.
