MF Doom & Youth of the Apocalypse Release "Drop the Bomb" Video
The folly of man and our unending threshold for pain and violence.
The visuals for YOTA: Youth of the Apocalypse and MF Doom‘s “Drop the Bomb” has arrived, and it’s pretty striking. Lead guitarist Jeff Wootton for live Gorillaz performances and Jamie Reynolds of the formerly active London-based Klaxons help make up the group, with DOOM joining the band to MC about the folly of man and our unending threshold for pain and violence.
The video follows these themes in kind, showcasing shocking images of bombing from the past to the present. The overall theme revolving around “mankind’s long, harrowing history of odious violence and senseless destruction and how we clearly haven’t learned anything from all the pointless and atrocious acts of warfare, invasion, and genocide that have been committed and experienced over the years.”
