2Pac's 'Greatest Hits' album certified Diamond

With more than 75 million albums sold worldwide including more than 38 million in the U.S., Tupac Amaru Shakur is one of the biggest selling rap/hip-hop artists in history. Further acknowledgement for this title arrives with the news that 12 years after its release in 1998, 2Pac’s Greatest Hits has officially surpassed the 10,000,000 line of sold units, and has been certified “Diamond” by the R.I.A.A..

The 2-disc/24-track piece includes hits like “California Love,” “Dear Mama,” “To Live & Die in LA,” “Hail Mary” and much more. Honoring the late artist’s 40th birthday, five 2Pac albums (Interscope/UME) including his first three solo albums are available for the first time digitally on iTunes.
