NEEDLES Spring/Summer 2018 Dives Into Retro '70s for New Editorial
Velour, jacquard and whiskey.
Japanese label NEEDLES channeled vintage suave for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, which took center stage in Notre‘s latest editorial photo shoot. The visual is set in a classic ’70s-style bar where the venue’s juke box, velvet curtains, patterned sofas and whiskey-hued furniture set the tone for the collection’s rich textiles and laid back silhouettes.
Highlighted pieces include the vintage carpet-print velour pants, the ribbon flannel and the raw hem boat neck ribbed shirt — all of which are styled together under a shared muted earthy tone color palette and a harmony of textural contrasts.
