Josh Sperling Displays "Two Purple Tigers" at Galerie Perrotin Seoul

See the artist’s newest shaped canvases.

American artist Josh Sperling presents his newest works for a solo exhibition titled “Two Purple Tigers” at Galerie Perrotin Seoul in South Korea.

For his latest presentation, Sperling takes his signature stretched canvases to greater magnitudes by exploring color combinations and eccentric shapes with added complexity. Citing Googie signage and the Memphis Design Movement as inspirations, Sperling’s experimental works continue to expand the notion of the canvas by blurring the lines between painting and sculpture.

Josh Sperling’s “Two Purple Tigers” will be on display until December 30, 2018 at Galerie Perrotin in Seoul. Head over to Perrotin’s website for more details.
