Sony Sets Release Dates for Two Spider-Man Universe Films
Morbius and Venom are coming.

Already working towards setting up all its comic book blockbusters, Sony Pictures has just secured dates for two (currently) untitled film releases. Although no details have been revealed, it is assumed that the untitled films are Spider-Man spinoffs — now set to hit theatres July 10, 2020 and October 2, 2020.
Many are guessing that the first film will be Morbius starring Jared Leto; as filming on Morbius has just recently began. The movie will see Leto play a scientist turned villainous vampire after unsuccessfully trying to cure himself of a blood disease. Despite poor critic reviews, the other film could be a sequel to Tom Hardy‘s $80 million USD box office success, Venom. However, before the two untitled Spider-Man spin-offs arrive, Sony is set to release the Silver Sable and Black Cat film Silver & Black on February 8, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home July 5, 2019.
