Joey Bada$$ Gives Update on His Upcoming Album
Tentatively titled ‘A.A.B.A.’ for now.
[gallery columns="3"]Joey Badass is just about done with his “Blank Face” tour with ScHoolboy Q, and the Brooklyn rapper has now turned his attention to his forthcoming album. He takes to social media to refer to the project as A.A.B.A. and reveals that it is “90% complete.” The message follows a series of cryptic announcements with the #aaba hashtag. The rapper recently stopped by Joey Franchize’s radio show to reveal some hints about the new LP:
“This new project is very powerful. That’s the best thing I can say about it. It’s very strong music. It’s like hella vegetables. It’s hella good for you. [...] [That's] almost my hesitance [sic] with it—the fact that it’s so good for you, because these kids these days want candy. ‘Devastated’ is almost like the organic candy because the message is still good for you.”
