Fuji Rock Festival held its 20th annual three-day event on the last weekend of July. This year, the festival — situated in the mountains of rural Niigata (a few hours outside of Tokyo), is headlined by Gorillaz, Aphex Twin and Bjork, and includes performances by The xx, Sampha, Gallant, Bonobo, Lorde, Major Lazer, Queens of the Stone Age and more. Although it was a rainy three days at Fuji Rock — even with heavy downpour on Saturday — it didn’t stop festival-goers from enjoying themselves. Attendees were draped in camping gear while tents were pitched all over festival grounds while music played in all directions. Check out photos above and a recap of each day at HYPEBEAST Japan.
