For the Spring/Summer 2017 season Japanese fashion purveyor SHIPS JET BLUE unveils an exclusive rendition of the iconic Timberland 6-Inch boot. One of the most unique takes on the silhouette in recent memory, SHIPS enlisted the help of revered leather manufacturer Horween to deliver a full-grain leather for this occasion, which is applied to both the upper and lacing. The natural colorway makes for a stylish release in itself, but additional rows of perforations along the ankle bring some extra zest to the timeless design. An additional feature which is often under-appreciated is the special Vibram rubber outsole that ensures the boot is ready to withstand even the toughest of conditions. You can look to purchase the SHIPS JET BLUE x Timberland 6-Inch boot at select SHIPS locations starting February 3 for a price of ¥36,000 JPY (approximately $314 USD).
