The Tokyo Game Show Offers Another Look at 'Final Fantasy XV'
“The tale begins…”
2016 marks the fourth year in a row that Final Fantasy XV has had a new trailer at the Tokyo Game Show, but it’s safe to say this year’s installment will be the last — XV, which has been in development since 2006, is finally slated for a release this holiday season. Hot on the heels of the PS VR and first-person showcase that hit E3 back in June, the latest trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy installment gets back to a focus on the story of the game itself, highlighting the updated character models as Prince Noctis and company set out to regain Lucis’ stolen crystal from the clutches of Niflheim.
Following countless delays and a decade of development, Final Fantasy XV will finally see the light of day come November 29 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
