Apple's MacOS Sierra Will Arrive on September 20
Bye OS X. Hello Siri.
Though there was no mention of the upcoming macOS Sierra at today’s Apple event, rest assured it is now on the way. Apple’s latest desktop operating system will be pushed out starting September 20 with Siri in tow. Presumably Apple didn’t want to distract from its iPhone 7 launch, so the announcement was made today on Apple’s website after the event. The new version will carry Apple’s updated naming scheme and marks the end of OS X. Additions include Siri for the Mac, improved file synching with iCloud, a universal clipboard that lets you share copied items across Apple devices, and a picture-in-picture mode for apps like iTunes and Safari.
