Urban explorers, parkour mavens and madcap climbers are constantly on a quest to find their next daring pursuit. This thrill-seeking lot usually arm themselves with portable cameras to showcase their devil-may-care audacity as they infiltrate restricted and hard-to-reach areas. Naturally, the immense yet complex makeup of New York City is the perfect domain for urban exploration with its slew of skyscrapers, subway tunnels and bridges. In a new video, Vic Invades plunged himself into some of the city’s abandoned and forbidden locations. Despite the clear tremendous risk, the young photographer continues to do what he loves, providing an unseen side of the Big Apple.

Watch the thrilling clip above and then check out our in-depth interview with Vic Invades here.
