BRAVO Culls Afghan War Rug Prints for Its Latest Collection
Incorporating symbols of war in the brand’s popular silhouettes.

BRAVO recently unveiled its latest collection that takes design cues from the traditional war rugs in Afghanistan. The Los Angeles-based brand’s iteration of the hand-woven patterns are meant to juxtapose “images of events and dynamics that profoundly affect and alter the world we live in.” Its new lineup of bags in the “War Rug” series include the Sierra Block I backpack and the Range Block III tote bag as well as a towel created in collaboration with Beech Brand. Each striking piece is made of high quality synthetic fabrics such as weatherproof 840 denier nylon for the Sierra and a cotton/polyester blended textile for the Range. Moreover, the towel boasts innovative Beech Shield technology that helps keep bacteria, stains as well as mold at bay.
The collection is currently available for purchase BRAVO’s official website.
