The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-Tracker Lives up to Its Name
Capable of taking beatings with no help from protective cases.

Olympus has just announced a serious new action camera, the Stylus Tough TG-Tracker. Unlike some other action cameras which require protective casing to perform under pressure, the new Olympus unit is self-protecting. The TG-Tracker is capable of waterproof up to 30m/100ft, shockproof from 2.1m/7ft, freezeproof to -10C/+14F and crushproof to 100kgf/220lbf while capturing photos at 8MP. The camera also includes a 1/2.3” sensor which allows for 4K/30p and 1080/60p video recording.
Perfect for outdoors, the TG-Tracker also has built-in GPS, temperature, pressure and barometric sensors to measure and overlay live data on it’s 1.5” tilting LCD screen. The lens is also a key feature here, as it is impressively wide at 204 degrees – a width only matched by the Ricoh WG-M2 before. The Olympus TG-Tracker will be available this June in black or neon green for $349 USD at participating stockists.
