Our latest episode of HYPEBEAST SPACES takes us all the way to Australia’s Gold Coast where we pay a visit to Alfred’s Apartment, a menswear shop, barber and diner all rolled into one. Founded in 2012, the Neilsen brothers aimed to bring a unique retail experience to the coastal town of Mermaid Beach by providing a curated selection of quality garments and accessories from both home and abroad made for the city life and outdoors. Building off the success of the retail space, Alfred’s Apartment soon expanded its operations by opening up a Barber shop, before venturing into the culinary side of things with a diner which now offers everything from acai bowls, to pulled pork burritos and a specialty blend of premium coffee. By staying true to its mantra of “ocean, adventure culture & class,” the establishment promises to be a mainstay in the community for years to come.
