Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line McQ has just unveiled its latest collection, and while eschewing the runway for a more laid-back showing, the lack of bells and whistles definitely matches the brand’s low-key aesthetic. This season, McQ takes inspiration from grunge, with a heavy inclusion of leather in all forms. From pants to vests and punk-inspired thigh-high boots, the collection is definitely not for everyone. But that’s not to say that there weren’t great basics too. Loose pants and printed shirts offer a good complement, in addition to bulky knits.
