Hood By Air x Kangol 2016 Fall/Winter Furgora Casual
The burgeoning NY brand updates the classic bucket hat.
Shayne Oliver’s boundary-pushing Hood By Air has teamed up with headwear brand Kangol to revamp the classic Furgora Casual hat. Making its debut on the runways of New York Fashion Week, the iconic bucket-shaped silhouette remains while the exterior gets touched-up with the HBA box logo on one side and Kangol’s signature kangaroo on the other. The hats are available in either red or black colorways and come with a real fur detachable pom. “The Kangol Furgora is a classic—the shape has been here for decades, never changing and always staying true to itself. Instead of trying to re-create this shape in the collection myself, I thought it best to go directly to the source, and I could not be happier with the result,” Oliver told Vogue. The HBA x Kangol collaboration is available for purchase now at Hood By Air’s website for $100 USD.
