Last year, The National‘s Bryce Dessner teamed up with So Percussion on a piece called “Music for Wood and Strings.” Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon linked up with S. Carey to cover the track, which they have described to be a “translucent remake.” Not only is the cover revamped with a new style, the lyrics are also changed. The track was originally in the announcement video for the 2016 Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival. Listen to it below.
