Conor McGregor Confirms His Role for 'Game of Thrones'
What role will he play?

Conor McGregor’s name still keeps poping up in the headlines. Just yesterday, news broke out that Floyd Mayweather is “dead serious” about fighting Conor McGregor and only four days prior to that, McGregor was rumored to star in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones.
Now, UFC president Dana White has confirmed McGregor’s new role, saying, “I did hear that. I knew a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show. I’m glad he did it. It will be great. The show is huge. It’s awesome, and I’m excited for him.” According to a source at Watchers on the Wall, McGregor will be a crew member on Euron Greyjoy’s ship, the Silence – named so thanks to Euron’s habit of cutting the tongues out of everyone who crews the ship. The source elaborated that McGregor’s role will amount to nothing more than a cameo, with no speaking involved on his part. Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are believed to be longtime fans of the UFC.
