Yohji Yamamoto and adidas Collaborate on a Set of Ski-Inspired Boots
Perfect for the winter weather.
Once again the Japanese designer teams up with the German giants for a set of boots to get you through those winter blues. The latest Yohji Yamamoto × adidas collaboration features classic ski boot motifs in the Square Zip and the Snow Patrol models. The Square Zip is made up of a part neoprene and leather combination, which also incorporates a square toe and zipper on both the lateral and medial sides. A white rubber midsole and Yamamoto’s script branding finishes off the look. On the other hand, the Snow Patrol boots provide a military-inspired take, implementing the same kind of sole design found on SWAT boots. Neoprene fabric is applied throughout the upper with zippers found on both sides just like the aforementioned model. Priced at ¥60,000 JPY (approximately $592 USD) and ¥64,000 JPY (approximately $631 USD) respectively, the Square Zip boots and Snow Patrol boots are now available at Yohji Yamamoto shops nationwide. Make sure to also check out the Y-3 Qasa Boot.
