The Next iOS Unicode Update Will Include Emoji for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and Avocados

No more typing out your favorite shrugging emoticon.

Emojipedia recently released information on the new emoji coming out in the coming iOS 10.2 update, after apple unveiled a developer preview. With the latest update, an additional 72 emoji are added to the already vast emoji keyboard, but the shrugging emoji to many stood out as the most important addition. With the emoji the need to type out your favorite shrugging emoticon will be a thing of the past, as with many other written words. Some other standout new emoji in the coming iOS update include Avocado, Selfie, Call Me Hand, Person Doing Cartwheel and Gorilla. No news on exactly when the update and new emoji are coming, but stayed tuned for more details as they become available.
