Instagram's New Office Looks Like Instagram
Marking the sixth anniversary of the app.

To celebrate its sixth anniversary Instagram recently moved 350 employees from a one-story office at Facebook’s former headquarters in Menlo Park, California to a newly refurbished building not far away. Instagram’s creative director Ian Spalter partnered up with architecture firm Gensler to design the office in a way where it reflects the development of the app. The space features an immersive lobby area with eight digital displays that show content from the app, a studio area equipped with perfectly lit scenes inspired by the app that serve as backdrops for commemorative photos for visitors. Designed with comfort and creativity in mind, the open concept and ample wall space are used to encourage participation and collaboration. Additionally, fully stocked micro-kitchens on each floor with plenty of lounging space and Blue Bottle coffee bars promote camaraderie among employees. Check out the stunning space above.
