Celebrating 260 years of history, iconic and legendary watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has revealed the Reference 57260 pocket watch. According to the manufacturer, this is the world’s most complicated watch ever made. Eight years in the making, the watch is commissioned by the top collectors in the world and was born in the Vacheron Constantin’s Atelier Cabinotiers haute horlogerie workshop. Taking the top bill from the Patek Philippe Caliber 89 pocket watch and its 33 complications and 1,728 components, Vacheron Constantin’s Reference 57260 boasts a recod setting 57 complications.
These complications, in addition to simply telling the hours, minutes and seconds include functions such as World Time Indication with separate 12 hours and minutes, day, day-night display, a balance wheel with variable inertia and spherical hairspring, among many many more.
