Athletic Propulsion Labs may be best known as the brand of basketball shoes banned by the NBA, but there’s a lot more to the company than its notorious reputation. After releasing both Part 1 and Part 2 of this series, we’ve already learned a little about the company and the technology that has kept the brand rubbing elbows with big names like Nike. Now in Part 3, we get to see how APL keeps its brand known for more than its footwear offerings. While its shoes are often the spotlight stealers, the founders — twins Adam and Ryan Golston — have not only been innovative in this front. The brand also offers a line of cutting-edge apparel, all made in the USA – a rarity in the modern day, but one that the brothers keep close to heart. Always looking to think outside the box, they try to genuinely produce great products — the secret ingredient in how the brand has ascended in ranks so quickly.
