The release date for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice edges ever closer, and what better way to build up hype than showing off the newest addition to the hallowed lineage of the Batmobile? Warner Bros. recently released this video of the new Batmobile on its way to be temporarily exhibited at its Studio Tour Hollywood attraction, and it looks radically different to the formidable, tank-like Tumbler found in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight films. The vehicle strikes a decidedly low-slung profile, harking back to the 1989 edition of the Batmobile with its raised cockpit. The machine gun ports are also visible on the front hood of the car, signaling Batman’s change of pace from his usually non-lethal modus operandi. Check out footage of the car, and anticipate Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to release in March of next year.
