'Straight Outta Compton' Gets Remade in 'Grand Theft Auto V'
With some motorbike and plane chases thrown in for good measure.
It was only a matter of time before someone drew a connection between N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton and Grand Theft Auto V, given the gritty worlds that both premises are set in. Utilizing the video game’s powerful in-game video editor, YouTuber AnimalRobot has drawn from the film’s trailer, substituting the Los Angeles neighborhood instead for the fictional Los Santos. The result is a tribute to the film and to N.W.A that combines the titular rap track with some less believable stunts involving motorbike antics and helicopter chases. Enjoy the video above.
