'Halo 5: Guardians' Multiplayer Trailer Highlights New Game Features
Microsoft and 343 Industries unveil a new look at the anticipated forthcoming video game.
As Microsoft gears up to release Halo 5: Guardians – its first installment in the mainline sequence since Halo 4 in 2012 – here we find the tech behemoth revealing new features of the game to eager audiences. As the above trailer indicates, Halo did indeed revolutionize multiplayer gaming, and here seeks to expand on that legacy by introducing two new features to the fold: “Arena” and “Warzone.” The Warzone feature allows players to battle with 24 opponents for a melee-style challenge. Elsewhere, “Arena” addresses the current popularity of gaming internationally, offering a curated 4-on-4 experience that caters to the more competitive crowd. Either way, the game’s improvements make the Halo 5: Guardians look like another must-have for Xbox One owners. Pick up the game when it officially releases on October 27.
